With 70 years of experience, ANIMALFEEDS is a trusted global supplier of marine proteins and fats for the animal feed industry. Founded in 1955 by Pierre J. Petrou and Celia Meilan in New York. We have grown from a small trading office into a conglomerate with an international reach — producing, exporting, and distributing high-quality feed ingredients, including fishmeal and fish oil. Today, our operations are strategically located throughout the Americas, near key marine protein sources, enabling us to serve our customers with local expertise and a global perspective. Our mission remains the same: to be a reliable source of marine protein and fats across the Americas.
Executive Committee
Since 1994, the company has been led by an Executive Committee comprising Robert Pastore and Brian Murtagh, senior players in the marine feed industry. Both have a large involvement and background in the fishmeal and fishoil industry around the world.
Robert and Brian share a lifetime of experience within the international marine feed ingredient industry and lead our group of companies from the insider's perspective.
